DigiWise Wallet terms of service
Effective 10 September 2026.
1. Introduction
Welcome to DigiWise Wallet, a service provided by DigiWise (“we”, “our”, “us”). By registering for or using our digital wallet services through the DigiWise Wallet website or mobile app, you agree to be bound by these terms of service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. Businesses registering must provide valid business registration details.
3. Account registration
Users must provide accurate personal information including name, email and phone number. Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
4. Wallet usage
The wallet allows you to store, send and receive funds in the currency your wallet holds, through our integrated payment partners. Our current payment partners are listed in our Privacy Policy on request. Transactions are subject to verification and may be limited by applicable laws.
5. Fees
Transaction and service fees are displayed prior to confirmation. Fees may vary depending on transaction type and partner application integration.
6. Restrictions
You may not use the wallet for illegal activities, including money laundering, gambling or fraudulent transactions.
7. Refunds and reversals
Refunds are processed in accordance with our Refund Policy. Once a transaction has been completed, reversals are only available in cases of verified error or fraud.
8. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of our terms or applicable regulations.
10. Limitation of liability
DigiWise is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from service interruptions or unauthorised account access.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
